Orchard Sauna was set up in late 2023 to bring the outdoor Sauna experience to city centre Bristol. We want to be:

• Sustainable: hot take - we don’t want to ruin the planet! So we try and be as sustainable as possible. For our Sauna this means having an electric sauna (which means fewer particulate emissions), and running it all off a green generator running on recycled vegetable oil. We are aiming to have a closed water system on our Cold Plunge and Shower - something that will mean we use filtered recycled water, and (we think!) will be a first in the UK!

• Friendly: we want people to feel welcomed and be able to relax in the space. Equally, we love a chat and want people to socialise and enjoy the Sauna to it’s fullest - after all, it’s been built for the people of Bristol, so let’s make it as friendly as the city is!

• Community: we want the Sauna to be a place where people meet & enjoy: really creating a community within the city. We’ve started by offering social prescribing sessions for NHS and link workers, and have much more planned. Watch this space!
